Iconic racing at its best!

A Legendary Track Forged in History

The story of the Circuit de La Sarthe began in the 1920s, long before it became synonymous with the 24-hour endurance classic. In 1920, a motorcycle Grand Prix took place on a 10-mile triangular course connecting Pontlieue, Mulsanne, and the Le Mans city centre. Even then, the circuit’s layout demanded endurance and precision, values that carry through to modern events like the British Truck Racing Championships (BTRC).

By the 1930s, the circuit gained international attention, but the outbreak of World War II brought racing to a halt. After the war, the venue was rebuilt, and racing resumed, setting the stage for the endurance and variety that would define its legacy.

Here we go! Racing at Le Mans in 2024!

Truck Racing at Le Mans

The smaller Bugatti Circuit, nestled within the larger Le Mans layout, has proven to be an ideal venue for truck racing. Its 4.422 km (2.75 miles) serpentine design offers technical challenges and close quarters racing that make for thrilling spectacles. Truck racing here is a true test of skill, precision, and machinery, with hairpin turns and straights that demand every ounce of a driver's ability.

In 2024, the Bugatti Circuit played host to some of the most spectacular races of the British Truck Racing Championships' international calendar. The event saw high-octane action, dramatic overtakes, and the kind of wheel-to-wheel combat that keeps fans on the edge of their seats – and MV Truck Racing managed to climb the hallowed steps to the podiums over the circuit, if only for a few minutes until a judgement went against them!

MV Truck Racing’s Return
Following the success of the 2024 races, the anticipation for the British Truck Racing Championships’ return to the Circuit de La Sarthe is palpable. As the only international round of the championship, the event not only highlights the Bugatti Circuit's unique appeal but also cements its reputation as a premier destination for global motorsport.

For MV Truck Racing, the upcoming races represent an opportunity to build on their spectacular performances in 2024, where Tom thrilled the crowds with daring racing and relentless determination. The team is already preparing for another unforgettable outing, aiming to push the boundaries of what these massive machines can achieve.
